Poll Was Misleading, Mrs. Covington Says

Lucy Covington presents a counter argument to termination measures in light of a recent poll that she claims misleads tribal members by promises of "fair value" in exchange for their allotment of reservation. Covington claims that if members understood that there are invaluable rights as an Indian and assets on the reservation that cannot be valued fairly, they would not be in favor of termination despite the $40,000 check they are estimated to receive.
