Lucy Covington provided this testimony to Congress as the Vice President of the Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians (ATNI). ATNI President, Roger Jim, profided written testimony as he was unable to travel to the hearing. Both voiced support for the Indian Self-Determination and Education Program (S. 1017) and related bills on public health and Tribal governments (S. 1342, S. 1343, S. 1340).
