Cultural Narrative:

Lucy mentions in the film Lucy Covington: Native American Indian that she liked the old homestead where they would break horses.  This homestead built by her father Louie Friedlander, Sr., was on the Rebecca Lake lower creek. Near their cabin was a barn where her younger brother, Louie Friedlander would break horses. Louie was known as a Saddle Bronc Rider in the Northwest. Contributed by Yvette Joseph, MSW and Confederated Colville Tribes member.
