Description: 

In a meeting held by the Senate's subcommittee on Indian Affairs, members from the Colville tribe were allotted two minutes a piece to provide testimony on their position regarding the tribe's termination. After two bills passed by the house died in the Senate, the commissioner of Indian Affairs, Robert L. Bennett, proposed amendments to the current bill, which were opposed by the Colville business council.
